You'll find a variety of shops carrying everything from beautiful jewelry and elegant home accessories, to classic, whimsical and amusing gifts. Crafts (specialty)

Circle of Friends Yarn Shop is located at 120 W Main St. Hand made hats, scarves, mittens, all types of fiber arts supplies, yarn, looms, needles, cording, dyeing and more. A huge variety of yarn available from lace weight to bulky for felting, weaving, knitting and crochet. Lessons available on a spinning wheel to make your own pieces, and spinning wheel rentals are available as well.  Open Tues-Fri from 10am-5pm and Saturdays from 10am-3pm. The Sample Store is located at 103 E Main Street. This specialty store is filled with fabrics, trim, holiday accessories, hand crafted and hand painted items done in-house. Beautiful arrangements and custom-made items are also available. Unique to the area, you won't want to miss this little shop that has been here since 1982! Gift Shops and Boutiques 

Aladdin's Hallmark is in North Elkin at 2119 N Bridge St (next to

 the Belk Department Store). This is not your ordinary Hallmark store, in

 fact it has some of the most interesting home accessories and colorful

 displays in town, and has been in this location for 21 years. Besides cards,

 stationary, and seasonal decorations, Tommie Ford (owner) also offers

 Willow Tree Collectibles, Tyler Candle Company, and Greenwich Bay

 Trading Company Botanic Soaps (made in Raleigh). This friendly group of

 girls want you to know they carry floral arrangements, wreaths, wine-

lovers gifts, lotions, baby gifts, holiday cards, ornaments...you can even

 buy a Christmas tree fully decorated. Plus, did you know they offer free

 gift wrapping? Don't miss this great shop... only minutes north of

Diana's Bookstore and Coffee Shoppe   is now located at 222 E. Main Street, Suite 103, in downtown Elkin, at The Liberty.  Diana's moved to East Main Street in the summer of 2014. This bookstore is one of a kind and has the best $1 coffee in town along with WiFi access. Complete with large varieties of books, sitting areas, children's area, cards, toys, gifts for adults, children and babies, along with Life is Good items, they can also special order any book for you!  Stop in and see owner Cicely McCulloch Mon - Fri from 9-5:30pm, and Saturday from 9:30-5pm. The Yadkin Valley Wine Shop is also located in this bookstore where you can do tastings or buy a glass of local wine while shopping -or relax in the lounge area above! A truly unique experience and atmosphere!

Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital Gift Shop  is on the south end of the hospital at the Main Entrance Lobby, and has a fabulous selection

of jewelry, home accessories, wall hangings, holiday decorations, baby gifts,

lotions and so much more. The staff is all volunteer and all of the proceeds go

to meet hospital needs. There are so many beautiful things to buy, so

whether you are visiting someone in the hospital, or just looking for a

special, one-of-a-kind gift, this is a perfect place to shop and one of Elkin's

Thrift Shop on Main Street! 

Ivy Ridge Traditions - located at 127 W Main Street in historical downtown Elkin, directly across from Royall's Soda Shoppe.  This beautiful gift shop offers gifts for all occasions plus indoor and outdoor accessories for the home, ladies clothing, shoes and jewelry, handbags, lotions, and unique garden and holiday items.  Owner Angel Day provides downtown shoppers with selections from Brighton, Vera Bradley, and more. 

Ivy Ridge Traditions was located in The Liberty, but relocated to its new location on West Main Street next to the Reeves Theater in May 2014

Plums Ladies' Fashions-  Is located at 111 W Main Street in historical downtown Elkin, and has been serving downtown shoppers since 1994 offering ladies clothing, belts, purses, jewelry, scarves and more! Lisettel pants (as seen on the Today Show), custom jewelry by Sassy Gems, Coobie Bras, Foxcroft blouses and the Nomadic Traders line are some things you'll find when you stop in, along with friendly, individualized customer service.

Second Chance Consignment is located at 1153 Klondike Road next to State Road Animal Hospital and is a great stop just north of 

Grassy Creek winery. Renee Guizzetti, owner of Second Chance, has 

found a way to make consignment shopping chic
