Fashion Boutique
String of Pearls is new to downtown Elkin, and located at 122 West Main Street. Owner Rebecca Caldwell chose Elkin to open her shop because of its charm and friendly atmosphere, and offers new and gently worn designer clothing, shoes, belts, handbags, and jewelry with styles that range from feminine to professional, along with beautiful vintage jewelry, hats and handbags. Stylish jeans too. You'll find name brand clothing at reasonable prices, including Cache, White House Black Market, DNKY, Bebe and more. Hours are Tues-Fri 10am -5pm, Saturday 11am-2pm.  | Aladdin's Hallmark is in North Elkin at 2119 N Bridge St (next to the Belk Department Store). This is not your ordinary Hallmark store, in fact it has some of the most interesting home accessories and colorful displays in town, and has been in this location for 21 years. Besides cards, stationary, and seasonal decorations, Tommie Ford (owner) also offers Willow Tree Collectibles, Tyler Candle Company, and Greenwich Bay Trading Company Botanic Soaps (made in Raleigh). This friendly group of girls want you to know they carry floral arrangements, wreaths, wine- lovers gifts, lotions, baby gifts, holiday cards, ornaments...you can even buy a Christmas tree fully decorated.  | Diana's Bookstore and Coffee Shoppe is located at 127 W Main Street in downtown Elkin, next to the Reeves Theater. Referred to as "the bookstore like The Shop Around the Corner in the movie You've Got Mail", this bookstore is one of a kind, has the best $1 coffee in town, a wealth of literature about Elkin events at your fingertips and has WiFi access.  | Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital Gift Shop is on the south end of the hospital at the Main Entrance Lobby, and has a fabulous selection of jewelry, home accessories, wall hangings, holiday decorations, baby gifts, lotions and so much more. The staff is all volunteer and all of the proceeds go to meet hospital needs. There are so many beautiful things to buy, so whether you are visiting someone in the hospital, or just looking for a special, one-of-a-kind gift, this is a perfect place to shop and one of Elkin's best kept secrets!  | Second Chance Consignment is located at 1153 Klondike Road next to State Road Animal Hospital and is a great stop just north of Grassy Creek winery. Renee Guizzetti, owner of Second Chance, has found a way to make consignment shopping chic. Smart shoppers know where to find the best deals in ladies/juniors, men's and children's clothing, jewelry and shoes, along with beautiful accessories to fill your home...and even a fabulous selection of prom dresses.
