Coming soon:  Elkin Dog park

An Elkin Dog Park is on its way! A new group is forming this week to create a safe and exciting space for our four legged pals and owners alike in the Elkin Area.
The mission of the non-profit, Friends of the Elkin Dog Park, is to increase the quality of life for dogs and owners in the Elkin Valley by building and promoting a safe space for our dogs to play off leash and socialize. This will be a welcoming space for two and four legged friends. The dog park will truly be a unique space and become an asset to Elkin and all of the surrounding areas.
Join us this Saturday, 15 July at the Dog Days of Summer event at the Elkin Farmers Market starting at 9 a.m. Come say hello, join our mailing list and hear about all the exciting plans we have in mind.
We are also holding an informative meeting on 3 August at the Elkin Library at 6:30 p.m. to discuss the location of the dog park, forming a board, fundraising and volunteering opportunities.
Have any questions? Would you like to be involved? Please email . . . hello@elkindogpark.org and let’s collaborate.
We can’t wait to see you at the park!   Stephanie and Nick Graff
