Fiddles Pub located in downtown Elkin at 323 W Main Street has a menu for casual dining, which includes delicious beef brisket sandwiches, Reubens, burgers, steaks, wraps, pizza, baskets of homemade chips (and other finger foods) and more. Great for a night out with friends, but also family friendly for lunch or dinner. Their beer selection includes 30+ different varieties with Guinness on tap, and a varied selection of wines. Sports bar, restaurant and microbrewery - newly expanded!

Angry Troll Brewing at Two-Twenty-Two  (pictured in the banner above) is located at 222 E Main St and offers 15 big screen TV's and late night hours for sports fans to watch their favorite teams while enjoying wood-fired pizzas, burgers, subs, wings, appetizers, and more. Beer and wine available, and a casual family atmosphere offers a great space in Elkin's East Main Street historical district to hang out in for hours. Building is newly renovated (was an old tobacco warehouse years ago) and is gorgeous inside with beautiful high exposed beamed ceilings. Restaurant on main level is open for lunches Friday through Monday. Closed all day on Tuesday and Wednesday, but open for dinners & apps late night Thursday through Monday. Hours in the tasting room are limited to Friday 5pm to 8pm; Saturday noon to 8pm, and now open Sunday afternoons. 

Southern-style with a flair

Southern on Main 

Chef and owner, Marla Stern, has opened on the corner of Hwy 21 & Main Street where you'll find outdoor and indoor dining, a full bar, and an excellent wait service for that special occasion. Menu features southern-style dishes, soups & salads, sandwiches, entrees and small plates, and specializes in certified Angus steaks.  Take out is also available. Reservations are accepted; call 336-258-2144.

Open daily for lunch from 11am - 4pm, and dinner nightly from 4pm to 9pm. Sunday Brunch hours are 11am - 3pm. 

Our Place, a martini and wine bar, is located above Southern on Main, and overlooks Main Street. It is open on Saturday evenings, with a full bar, cozy seating, and offers a great atmosphere for a quiet night out. A full dinner menu is available upstairs in the bar, too.   The upper level also has another room for large party rental space, that can include the bar area as well. 
Country cookin' ...
Nana's Family Restaurant  is the latest restaurant to open in downtown Elkin (opened January 2019) and serves country cooking specialties for breakfast and lunch. Cammy Smith & Lacey Roberts are the new owners, love to cook, and are excited to make your visit a special one. Come to 260 W Standard Street and relax with a plenty of seating and easy parking.  Hours are Monday - Saturday 6:00 am to 2:00 pm. Long-time Elkin "hangout"

Harry's Place, Restaurant & Bar is in downtown Elkin at 135 Front St.  Harry's Place has been around since 1954 and is considered a true "destination" for Elkin residents and visitors. Comfortable, fun, good food at a good price...and once you come, you'll always be a part of the "Harry's family". Harry's daughter, Teresa, took over the business in 2002 and has continued the tradition serving lunch Mon-Fri 11:00-1:30pm including daily meat specials with 13 vegetables, and dinner Wed, Fri and Sat 5:00-9:00pm. Menu items include soups, salads, sandwiches, their famous burgers and homemade desserts. In addition, evening specialties include Peel n' Eat Shrimp, Snow Crab, steaks and more! A little slice of gourmet heaven  

Roxxi & Lulu's Bistro & Bakery is temporarily closed but their baked goods and sandwiches can be purchased up at their second downtown location, The November Room, along with specialty coffee drinks and wine cocktails!   The November Room is located at 206 E Main Street and is open Tuesday - Saturday. 

Farm to Table
The Reeves Theater & Cafe opened in December 2017, and the cafe began serving their farm-to-table menu in January 2018. The theater is newly renovated and the lobby area is open for casual dining with delicious soups, sandwiches, quiche, and more, made with fresh ingredients from local farms.  Breads are baked on site, and there is also a bar inside the lobby which includes beer and wine. Enjoy some nostalgia... a hometown favorite!

Royall's Soda Shoppe is at 128 W Main Street and has been a favorite for decades in Elkin.  Casual nostalgic atmosphere, same great food reasonably priced. If you were there as a kid, your name is still probably carved into the wood booths! Known for their friendly service and famous hot dogs piled high with delicious toppings, sandwiches, salads, burgers, and ice cream. Open for lunch at 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday and 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on Saturday. Always open late during downtown festivals and holiday events. Blast from the past

Speedy Chef, located at 685 N Bridge Street, is a nostalgic, fast-food restaurant where you order at the counter, wait for your food, then find a seat and enjoy. Open early for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and nothing fancy, you'll find good food at a good price. Many generations consider this a classic dive, and Speedy Chef remains busy throughout the day, with fast service and to go orders available too. Menu includes a wide variety of sandwiches, hot dogs with the works, burgers, salads, homemade desserts, ice cream specialties, and numerous lunch and dinner specials. Thai Cafe

Prime Thai Restaurant at 642 N Bridge Street, has traditional Thai cooking with specialties (including Pad Thai and Curry dishes) from all across the country which includes a delicate balance of textures, colors and flavors.  Thai food emphasis is on a delectable blending of four primary flavors of sweet, sour, hot, and spicy...and there is a wide selection from mild to hot temperatures to choose from. Not all Thai cooking is spicy hot, although it is all flavorful! If you are unfamiliar with our food, it would be our pleasure to assist you choosing dishes that you'll enjoy. Italian fare 

Amalfi's Pizza Italian Restaurant is located near the Elkin WalMart in the shopping plaza behind Zaxby's,  at 544 CC Camp Road, off of I-77 exit 85.  Although you place your order up at the counter before you sit down, don't let that stop you from enjoying a meal here. The food is brought to your table and the service is good. They also offer wine on the menu from local vineyards.  The pizza is very tasty, and they have a good selection of subs, salads and hot dinners as well as daily specials. Mazzini's Italian Restaurant located at 1521 N Bridge Street, has a large, varied selection of Appetizers, Salads, Sandwiches and Subs, Pizzas, Pasta Dishes, and House Specialties (Chicken, Veal, Shrimp, Steak, and Salmon). Their menu satisfies the Italian food lover along with those just looking for a great specialty dish. Everything you order at Mazzini's is homemade, including their soups and sauces, plus delicious homemade Peanut Butter Pie.  Check for daily lunch specials and Senior discounts on Wednesday nights. Hispanic Cuisine 

El Ahorro is located at 1019 N Bridge St and is not only a Mexican Restaurant, it is also a Hispanic Market with a fantastic selection of cut meats and other specialty items. The restaurant offers lunch and dinners and a wide variety of Mexican combination platters along with other dishes such as Grilled Steak Fajita, Fried Tilapia, Marinated Pork Chops, seafood -chicken-or beef stews, and so much more. La Fuente has been open since 2001 and is definitely worth a stop if you are craving Mexican cuisine. Located at 1627 N Bridge Street, just north of Hwy 268, LaFuente has fun atmosphere, an extensive menu (over 200 items), and huge servings of your favorite dishes. Special events here include Mother's Day (a rose for mom), Cinco de Mayo (specials on Margaritas and beers), and birthday celebrations (it's a surprise...come see for yourself!) Favorite recommended dishes include Texas Fajitas Fundidas, Arroz con Pollo, and Chori Pollo, and for dessert, cheesecake wrapped in a flour tortilla and deep fried. Every Thursday is Thirsty Thursdays at LaFuente...Small draft beer $1.50, Small Margarita $3.25, Med $5.25, or Blue Margarita $5.00.  And on Wednesdays, Lunch Specials are Mexican Chicken & Rice $5.00 and Combination of two tacos, rice & beans for $3.75.

Smokehouse & Microbrewery
Skull Camp Brewing & Restaurant is located at 2000 N Bridge Street in North Elkin. Was previously the Basin Creek Country Store but has been transformed into a great hangout for beer lovers (plenty of beer on tap), wine lovers (wine tasting room upstairs) and pub food lovers (great burgers, smoked meat sandwiches, and lots of good finger foods to share).  Plenty of seating, and even the famous fire place in the back room is lit during chilly winter days. Pirate's Landing  Ahoy ther' Matey!  Welcome aboard Pirate's Landing, where dining becomes an adventure! Located in Elkin, North Carolina, Pirate's Landing is the most exciting restaurant in the Southeast. Steakhouse Grill

Dodge City  is a casual restaurant located at 2001 N Bridge St, and offers a steakhouse with a separate (full) bar area as well.  The menu offers a large selection of burgers, steaks, pork and chicken, and a variety of other grilled entrees, salads, sandwiches, BBQ ribs and more. Plenty of seating for large parties. Cowboy Restaurant opened in summer of 2017 and offers steaks, seafood, pork and chicken dishes for lunch and dinner. They also offer sandwiches and a kids menu. Located at 961 N Bridge Street, they have ample parking for customers. 

Some dishes include Flounder, Catfish, Popcorn shrimp, a blooming onion, salads, Sirloin, Ribeye Steak, and Fried Oysters.

Elkin Creek Vineyard Tasting Room is open for fresh, stone-oven baked pizza every Sunday. Be sure to call a few days in advance to reserve a pizza for your visit, as the dough is made on Saturdays. They also bake fresh artisan breads and offer antipasto plates as well. Casual fine dining at the golf course

Cedarbrook Grille at Cedarbrook Country Club is open to the public 7 days a week for lunch and Friday evenings with a fantastic dinner menu that includes steaks (ribeye, filet), seafood (salmon, shrimp) and more! The lunch menu includes delicious salads, quesadillas, burgers, club sandwiches, Reubens and more. Plus, every Sunday, their Brunch has delicious home cooking the entire family will enjoy at reasonable prices.
