Elkin Valley Trails Association (EVTA), is blazing the way to create hiking, biking, and horse trails from Stone Mountain State Park, down through Elkin and along the Yadkin River, where eventually they plan to have a camp site at downtown Elkin's Crater Park for travelers who are kayaking/canoeing down the Yadkin River.
