Blue Ridge Chocolate Shop Is located at 225 W Main Street, next door to Fiddles Pub. Inside you'll find a fabulous selection of gourmet European chocolates that are as beautiful as they are delicious. They'll make up the perfect gift box for you as well. The November Room is also owned by the previous owners of Roxxi and Lulu's and offers coffee drinks, desserts & limited pastries, handmade candies, and slushy frozen & fruity wine beverages. Stop by till 8pm (Tu-Th) or till 5pm the rest of the week, at 206 E Main Street. Lots of shopping is also available while you enjoy your goodies, with over 30 vendors!

Country Roads Emporium is located in downtown at 240 Standard Street, across from the Visitor Center.  It's a gift shop that also features ice cream, shaved ice, smoothies and baked goods with a seating area indoors. Stop and and visit Darlene, with easy parking access, with store hours Monday thru Saturday, 10 am - 7 pm (later if customers are still coming in). Barking Coyote Coffee Shop and Farm Store opened in downtown Elkin and is located in the old BB&T bank building at 202 W Main Street. It is ready for early-risers at 7am, a perfect stop on your way to work or school.  This sweet and savory bakery, coffee shop, and farm store specializes in "farm to table" baked goods and products. Open early for coffee, scones, muffins, cookies, biscotti, cinnamon buns, and light, healthy breakfast fare such as homemade Greek and Bulgarian fruit yogurts. Also available are take-n-bake Italian dinners, various deli items (pimento cheeses, chicken salad, and hummus) and desserts, bread, granola, honey, salsa, jams, and seasonal farm produce.  Shaded, garden area outdoor seating along Elkin's Main Street provides the perfect place to enjoy your Barking Coyote treats in comfort as you relax and enjoy the friendly, small town atmosphere that is Elkin, North Carolina. Dirty Joe's Downtown and Dirty Joe's North offer 2 locations for yummy coffee in Elkin.  Downtown coffee shop opened summer of 2017 at 132 E Market St, in downtown Elkin. One block up from Main St, it is worth the walk up the little hill. Outdoor seating, indoor seating, a large variety of delicious high-quality coffees at reasonable prices. Espresso machine, a variety of coffee drinks (hot, iced or frozen) and quality teas (including Chai drinks) are individually prepared to order. He also offers fresh baked treats to go along with your beverages. Parking is ready available along Market Street, Court Street or even at the Town Hall parking lot 1/2 block over where the farmers market shelter is.

Dirty Joe's Downtown is open 7am to 7pm, Monday to Saturday, or later if busy. Sundays open from 10am -2pm.

Ice cream cravings?

If you are looking for ice cream cones, sundaes and shakes...you can find them at Royall's Soda Shoppe (downtown Main Street) and at Speedy Chef (N Bridge St a few minutes north of downtown) year round. Lots of yummy flavors to choose from as well! 

Creamy Dayz  is all about ice cream and only ice cream! Offering freshly made waffle cones and waffle taco shells and lots of homemade, creamy flavors, you'll find this the perfect stop at 615 N Bridge Street with plenty of covered outdoor seating during warm summers days, and limited indoor seating. New owner opened this family-owned shop in April 2019. Great prices and delicious treats await!  Hours Tuesday - Saturday, noon - 9pm, and Sundays 1pm - 8pm.
