Blue Ridge Chocolate Shop Is located at 225 W Main Street, next door to Fiddles Pub. Inside you'll find a fabulous selection of gourmet European chocolates that are as beautiful as they are delicious. They'll make up the perfect gift box for you as well. Roxxi and Lulu's Bistro & Bakery (was on 111 W Market St - but has relocated to 280 Standard Street in the old Heaven's Scent restaurant building).  Healthy and delicious, this interesting bistro offers a variety of gourmet goodies from savory to sweet, and features breakfast (quiche, pancakes and more) and lunch specials with fabulous salads, soups & sandwiches. They also offer baked breakfast goodies and after-dinner desserts. They continue to sell their homemade jams, and offer specialty coffees as well. Barking Coyote Coffee Shop and Farm Store opened in downtown Elkin and is located in the old BB&T bank building at 202 W Main Street. It is ready for early-risers at 7am, a perfect stop on your way to work or school.  This sweet and savory bakery, coffee shop, and farm store specializes in "farm to table" baked goods and products. Open early for coffee, scones, muffins, cookies, biscotti, cinnamon buns, and light, healthy breakfast fare such as homemade Greek and Bulgarian fruit yogurts. Also available are take-n-bake Italian dinners, various deli items (pimento cheeses, chicken salad, and hummus) and desserts, bread, granola, honey, salsa, jams, and seasonal farm produce.  Shaded, garden area outdoor seating along Elkin's Main Street provides the perfect place to enjoy your Barking Coyote treats in comfort as you relax and enjoy the friendly, small town atmosphere that is Elkin, North Carolina. Dirty Joe's coffee shop opened summer of 2017 at 132 E Market St, in downtown Elkin. One block up from Main St, it is worth the walk up the little hill. Outdoor seating, indoor seating, a large variety of Starbucks-quality coffees at reasonable prices. Espresso machine, a variety of coffee drinks (hot, chilled or frozen) and quality teas (including Chai drinks) are individually prepared to order. Make sure you stop to visit owner John Cheek with your special requests. Along with seating, he provides a daily paper and good conversation. He also offers fresh baked treats to go along with your beverages. Angie's Cakes and Bakery  is Elkin's newest bake shop, and is located at 1300 N Bridge Street, Suite 102 (entrance towards north side of building).  Look for the bright pink sign.  Angie takes your ideas and creates cakes to order, that are beautiful to look at and just as delicious. They specialize in cake decorating, but also create any other bakery item you request including tarts, cupcakes, brownies, and even freshly baked breads and chocolate covered strawberries. Some mornings she offers fresh baked donuts!  Angie wants to you know, you're welcome to stop in anytime to pick up one item or a dozen! There is plenty to choose from. Ice cream cravings?

If you are looking for ice can find it at Royall's Soda Shoppe (downtown Main Street), Speedy Chef (N Bridge St a few minutes north of downtown) year round. Lots of flavors to choose from as well! 

Elkin's newest ice cream shop dedicated only to ice cream is called...

Elkin Country Creamery  Offering freshly made waffle cones and lots of homemade ice cream flavors, you'll find this the perfect stop at 615 N Bridge Street with plenty of covered outdoor seating during warm summers days.  Business hours are Fri/Sat (noon till 10 pm) and Sunday (1 pm till 9 pm).  During chilly winter months, the shop will be closed (from December thru March).
