In the most recent AAA motorist magazine called "Go",  our very own downtown restaurant, Roxxi and Lulu's Bistro and Bakery, was mentioned as a must go location when visiting the Yadkin Valley! 

We are so excited to have them here in Elkin.  They are located one block south of Main Street in downtown Elkin, on W Standard Street.  They're open Tues - Saturday for breakfast and lunch, and are now open for dinners Thursday and Friday nights! Elkin area residents, Madeline and her father Jay Morphis, have a special project they just completed. Together, they have created Teddy's Adventures, a new children's book that they wrote and illustrated together. Living in the country provides lots of fun things to do on sunny days, but on rainy days, Madeline found she liked to draw.

First United Methodist Church of Elkin sent these beautiful photos of their church that is decorated for Christmas. They are offering a Christmas Eve Candlelight Service celebration and are inviting anyone in the community who would like to attend. Harry's Place Hosts Special Reunion of The Long & Pardue Band during Memorial for Harry and Nancy Smith
